Another one bites the dust
By Renee Evans

I slowly opened my eyes everything was fuzzy and I saw stars then a sudden pain like someone putting a knife in my brain.

I felt a wet cloth on my head and then saw my husband looking down at me concerned. How are feeling babe he asked softly.

I was confused what happened I asked and then I realised did I have a seizure I said, he sadly nodded his head, close your eyes and rest he said.

The sharp pain constantly in my head and the taste of blood in my mouth I must of bit my tongue again I asked for panadol as the pain was so bad I couldn’t sleep.

Then I heard my partner talking to someone and realised it was my friend I forgot she was there and that means she saw my seizure I started to feel sick.

I tried to get up so I could go to the bathroom but I couldn’t my partner ran over to stop me I explained I need to go to the bathroom, I will take you he said thankfully my friend offered to take me to the toilet.

I’m sorry I kept saying over and over I could see the fear in my friends eyes I’m sorry you had to see that don’t be silly it’s not your fault but I’ve seen that look before and they always act differently towards me after a seizure.
