This week is Men’s Health Week 2026, and this year’s Australian theme is simple but important: “See Your GP.” The campaign encourages men to stop putting their health on the backburner and book that check-up they’ve been meaning to make. Whether it’s something physical, mental, or emotional, early action can make all the difference.

Too often, men wait until something becomes a problem before seeking help. This week is a reminder that looking after yourself isn’t a sign of weakness - it’s one of the strongest things you can do.

✅ Book that check-up
✅ Have the conversation you’ve been avoiding
✅ Check in on a mate
✅ Take your health seriously

Your health matters. To your family. To your friends. To your future.

If it’s been a while since you’ve seen your doctor, make this the week you do it.

Yesterday was Thank a First Responder Day, and while we may be a little late, our gratitude certainly isn’t.

Today, and every day, we recognise the incredible first responders who show up when people need them most. From paramedics, police officers and firefighters, to SES volunteers, emergency call operators and countless others working behind the scenes - thank you for your dedication, courage and service.

You are often there on someone’s hardest day, providing support, safety and hope when it matters most.

From all of us at Bourne 4 Life, thank you for everything you do for our communities 🤜🤛

📣 It’s official…

$3,184.20 raised for

For our very first Bourne 4 Life fundraiser, we’re blown away by the support shown from our community.

We’ve spent the past few weeks thanking everyone involved, but we couldn’t announce this result without one final thank you. Whether you attended the event, made a donation, shared our content, volunteered your time, or simply supported us from afar — this result was only possible because of you.

To raise over $3,000 through our first fundraising event is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s a reminder of what can be achieved when people come together behind an important cause.

But we’re only just getting started.

Stay tuned over the coming days as we reveal the next B4L initiative and continue our mission to raise awareness and support conversations around mental health, addiction and su***de.

Onwards and upwards 💙

What an incredible day 💙

Our first ever Bourne 4 Life fundraiser would not have been possible without the amazing support from our community, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who showed up to support the cause.

A huge thank you to:
• Chris – President of
• Paul & Rory from
• for their incredibly generous beer donations
• Everyone who arrived early, stayed back late, and helped with the setup and pack down

Special thanks also to:
• Kellie & Luke Smith for running the bar
• Rheanna & Stevie for taking care of the BBQ
• Dean for his involvement in the softball game, getting Carine Cats involved, and for the personal support he has given Bourne 4 Life
• Jeff Bourne for all his help before, during and after the event

And lastly — thank you to every single person who took the time to come down, donate, support and be part of something bigger than all of us.

The support, conversations and community spirit shown throughout the day reminded us exactly why Bourne 4 Life was created. This is only the beginning 🤜🤛

Although the event may be over, donations are still open until June 1 as we continue working towards our fundraising goal. If you couldn’t make it on the day but would still like to support the cause, you can donate here, with proceeds going to Mens Talk: https://square.link/u/UJK1TasQ
