After successfully stealing Darlington Rovers’ flag, there was only one reasonable way for them to get it back…

A KARAOKE BATTLE! 🎶

North Beach and Darlington Rovers came together for a night of questionable vocals, some surprisingly good performances and plenty of songs being absolutely belted out. 🎤

Flags were returned, voices were lost and a great night was had by all!

What a weekend! North Beach Rovers headed up to Northam for a Unit Camp filled with good friends, music, campfires and plenty of laughs.

On Saturday morning we also took some time for Chloe’s Personal Reflection, sharing memories, stories and some of the moments that have made our time in Rovers so special.

A weekend of making new memories while looking back on some pretty great old ones.

BOARD GAME NIGHT!!

After a big night of Nighthawk for some of our Rovers, it was time to slow things down and enjoy a relaxed night at the hall!

We also had some new Rovers joining us and getting stuck into the fun, with games of 5 Second Rule and Pictionary bringing plenty of laughs and questionable drawing skills 😅

A pretty perfect way to wind down, catch up and spend some time together!

A NEW LOOK FOR NORTH BEACH! 🎨

We’re so excited to have recently had a mural proposal approved for the Scout Hall! 🥳

An artist will be bringing our hall to life with a brand-new mural, with each section of the group getting to paint their own part of the design.

We can’t wait to get everyone involved in the painting process and, most importantly, see the finished mural come to life!

Over the school holidays, Chloe Lock successfully led her Adventurous Journey, conquering a section of the iconic Bibbulmun Track!

From navigating challenging terrain to working together as a team, the journey pushed everyone outside their comfort zones and created plenty of unforgettable memories along the way.

We’re incredibly proud of Chloe for taking on this leadership challenge and can’t wait to continue supporting and encouraging her as she works towards achieving her Baden-Powell Scout Award. Keep up the amazing work, Chloe! 👏

🏌️‍♂️⛳ Last week we teamed up with Goollelal Greenwood Venturers for a joint activity at the driving range!

From absolute beginners to seasoned golfers, everyone had a go at sending a few balls down the range. There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and a few surprisingly impressive shots along the way.

It was a fantastic opportunity to catch up, make new connections, and enjoy an evening together. Thanks to Goollelal Greenwood Venturers for joining us—we had a great time!

⛵️ Last week we headed out on the water with Mosman Bay Rovers to learn the basics of sailing!

For most of us it was our first time behind the sails, and while the wind wasn’t exactly on our side, we still had a fantastic afternoon cruising along the river, learning new skills and enjoying great company.

To top it all off, we were treated to a stunning sunset over the water – the perfect way to end the day. 🌅

A huge thank you to Mosman Bay Rovers for sharing their knowledge and getting us out on the river. We can’t wait to do it again!

We stepped out of our comfort zones last week and gave axe throwing a go!

North Beach Rovers headed to Lumber Punks in East Perth for an afternoon of flying axes, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs.

It was a great chance to try something new, unleash a little stress, and discover who had the best aim (and who definitely didn’t 😅).

We definitely recommend giving it a go!

Rootin’ Tootin’ Mootin’ was a rootin’ tootin’ good time!

We had an absolute blast at MayMoot, learning how to line dance, trying our hand at lassoing, and even wrangling our way to 2nd place in the quiz night! 🥈

One of the highlights of the weekend was sitting down with our unit to a delicious roast dinner after a day full of activities, laughs, and good company.

We were also so excited to invest our new Rover Dylan, welcome and we’re looking forward to all of the adventures ahead!!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the weekend especially North Beach Rovers Chloe, Claire and Luka. Your hard work made it a fantastic event, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!!
