TOTS Blanket Challenge The TOTS Blanket Challenge is a nationwide volunteer project that brings kindness, creativity, & community spirit together.

We ask participants to knit or crochet 20x20cm squares that we then sew into blankets for those most in need.

Thanks Kim for popping in and helping sort squares. We've had quite a few come in since the end of the challenge including from Tiffane who send us this note:

Hi Team
Before she passed away my mother was knitting squares as therapy for the arthritis in her hands.

We were trying to find somewhere to send the completed square as I have no interest in joining them, the. I saw you on Sunrise and immediately knew I had a home for them.

I hope you can put them to good use, noting there are two parcels if they don't arrive together.

We are absolutely chockers full of wool here at the TOTS Blanket Challenge, so Why not come down and grab some of your favourite colours to put into your next project!

We are selling wool for $1 a ball, all proceeds from this and other fundraising initiatives go to helping the TOTS Blanket Challenge function for many years to come!

This Is the final week to drop into Grill'd, Grab a burger and drop your token into the jar for the TOTS Blanket Challenge!

Grill'd Penrith is fundraising for us for the month of August. If you are planning an evening off cooking, please consider heading to Grill'd where you can donate your token to the
All money raised will go towards us being able to run the challenge again next year. Boring stuff like insurance and website hosting, as well as exciting things like keeping our amazing Challenge Co-ordinator Ryan who manages all comms, socials, marketing etc.

We have so many blankets to hang during our challenge resulting in us running out of space. So we contacted our trusty local Men's Shed who built this incredible display area on a pulley so that we can lower it to add the blankets and then hoist it up to display them.

Thank you so much to Heather for creating and sending in these beautiful squares!

They are now in the very capable hands of Linda who will combine them into what is sure to be a gorgeous blanket!

Have you got squares to send in? Although the challenge may be over, we receive squares all year round, so if you are in a crocheting or knitting mood, continue to make squares and we will be happy to count them for next year’s goal!
