After watching the weather app all week, worrying about the rain… our Hit and Giggle day went ahead with blue sky’s peeking through the clouds! It was a great picnic with plenty of laughs, fun and good company. We had a go at tennis, quoits and pickle ball! We are definitely not competition ready 🤣🎾🏏

Anzac Day preparations was a chance for some branch members who could attend to get together and make some beautiful wreaths for the celebrations.
We used recycled material for the framework and greenery and flowers from our gardens.

A small Anzac ceremony was held today at the Calga cenotaph. While small, it was full of heart and amazing stories. Our cultural officer Margie is one of the dedicated volunteers who endeavour to make something special for locals and visitors who couldn’t attend one of the larger ceremonies to commemorate the day.
