On 29 August 6 members attended the Mitchell Group Half Yearly Conference. Our crafting excellence was on display including Doreen's tractor from the State Exhibit.

Mitchell group has entered 143 items. Thank you to all the participants. I’ll be looking for all the entries to post and show at the conference on August 29.

At some of our craft sessions we have been creating Twiddle mats for dementia patients at Hospitals and Aged Care facilities.
These are tactile sensory aids designed to calm restless hands in individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimers.

56 large and 51 small bags for clothes, 22 beanies and 5 scarves,1 rug and 1 poncho have been sewn and crafted by our members for donation to Big Group Hug who in turn help families and children facing hardship.
