🎉 CELEBRATING A MILESTONE FOR LITTLE INDIA! 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that today, Little India NSW Inc officially took delivery of our brand-new shuttle bus from LDV! 🚌✨

To welcome this incredible addition to our community, we held a customary puja and breaking of the coconut ceremony on-site. It was a beautiful moment of tradition and blessing as we embark on this new journey to serve our vibrant precinct.

This project is a powerful testament to what happens when all stakeholders work together for the betterment of the community—when we collaborate, everyone is a winner!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to:

• The NSW Government and local MP Donna Davis for the vital $45,000 grant that jump-started this green transport initiative.

• Our amazing local businesses within the Little India precinct, who chipped in the remaining funds to bring this vision to life.

• The LI NSW Board, who worked tirelessly to navigate the planning, approvals, and delivery to make this dream a reality.

What this means for our visitors: Our new 12-seater shuttle is here to directly address traffic and parking challenges during peak hours. Starting later this month (May), the bus will ferry visitors from key locations, including Parramatta Station, making it easier than ever to enjoy the best of Harris Park.

⏰ Operating Hours: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Thursday to Sunday
What’s Next? We are now moving into the branding phase! We will be proudly featuring the logos of our contributing businesses on the vehicle.

Vibrant & Happening – Little India Precinct!

What an amazing atmosphere at Little India! The energy is truly electrifying — enjoying live singing, beautiful lyrics, and great company over a warm cup of chai at Chilli Bites. 🎶☕

All efforts by Little India NSW Inc are focused on boosting local businesses and creating a lively cultural hub.

As a key team member, I am proud to stand alongside the patrons and community who make Little India so special.

A big thank you to Andrew Charlton MP for his support and for helping shape the identity of “Little India” during the last visit of honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Grateful also to Donna Davis MP for her full support, especially in facilitating the free shuttle bus service to address parking challenges in the precinct. 🚌

Exciting news for our community! 🚍

A Free Shuttle Bus for the Little India Precinct is coming soon! This initiative will make it easier for everyone to visit, explore, and enjoy the vibrant culture, food, and shopping our precinct has to offer.

We’re proud to share that this project is being developed in collaboration with our good friend Venkat Jayaraj from Parramatta Connect and Tarun Khurana — a true supporter of our community who has always been passionate about bringing people together and helping local businesses grow.

This shuttle service will not only improve accessibility but also strengthen the connection between our businesses and the wider community. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this vision a reality!

Today, along with President Nitin Setia , I had the privilege of joining the Indian Delegation of Food & Agri Exporters to Australia at Hilton, Sydney.

It was truly inspiring to witness how Indian companies are excelling in this era and creating a remarkable global impact through innovation, quality, and entrepreneurship.

A heartfelt thanks to AIBC – Irfan Malik Irfan Malik and the Federation of Indian Export Organisations for making us a part of this wonderful initiative and for strengthening business and cultural connections between India and Australia.
