Painting enamel has a long history. Miniatures are most familiar. During Elizabethan times many beautifully framed miniatures were made, depicting people associated with the Crown. Some are in various museums including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Limoges enamellers had a style of painting enamels. In this workshop we will experiment with a range of fine painting enamels. the workshop will be held on Sunday 17th May at 9.30am. The workshops are suitable for both beginners and experienced enamelers.

This is the Fourth year that the Enamellers Association has participated in Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail. This is a large fair that rediscover old arts and crafts, which is held over a weekend in April. It was very well attended and the Association’s stall created a great deal of interest, plus there was a great many sales of members’ works.
