The report is now publicly available and documents the educational resources and materials developed by Ngarrngga to support educators’ ongoing engagement with the exhibition.

The Yambirrpa schools (Yirrkala School and Laynhapuy Homelands School) provide bilingual learning and curriculum which utilises Yolŋu Knowledge systems alongside western knowledge, also referred to as Both Ways learning.

This provides their students with the opportunity to develop a strong learning foundation in their first language, enabling them to later engage with learning in both languages. It also ensures that Yolŋu Knowledges and language continue to pass through generations, reinforcing cultural identity and belonging.
