If anyone is still interested in coming to our Retreat on the weekend of 27-29th November we still have a couple of rooms left please fill in the forms and return them so we can reserve a room.

The Burns Support Foundation is sad to let everyone know of the passing of Gale Pritchett. Gale will be sadly missed by those who knew her. Gale and Frank were on our Committee for many years and attended many camps.

The celebration of life for Gale Pritchett will be held in Bundanoon next Thursday 17th September
Please see details below
Mum would like to see some colour on the day if possible
For those who cannot attend we will also be recording (not live streaming) the service and will be happy to send the link to any family or friends that would like a copy

Did you know it is Burns Awareness Month

Did you know the right first aid can help reduce the size and depth of a burn?

Burn cooling is a critical part of the initial response.

Gold standard burn first aid is at least 20 minutes of cool running water within three hours of injury.

Remember:

🛑 STOP the burning process
👕 REMOVE clothing and jewellery from the affected area
💧 COOL with cool running water for at least 20 minutes
🩹 COVER with a clean dressing, cloth or cling film
🏥 SEEK medical advice if needed

20 minutes to cool is the rule.

A very belated THANK YOU to Beat the Burn and Heathcote Fire Brigade for all they have have done for the Burns Support Foundation.

Beat the Burn along with everyone member of Fire and Rescue NSW have raised money to fund the 002 Station The Burns Unit at Westmead Children's Hospital and The Burns Support Foundation.

We are extremely proud to be associated with these wonderful supporters.

I would also like to thank those wonderful people who flew in from S.A. and QLD as well as all our lovely Friends from all over NSW i hope you arrived home safely.

CRU Lake Macquarie on the weekend of 27th to the 29th of November.

A weekend of activities will be announced soon including lots of water activities for all.
