🚨 HEY TEAM — BIG NEWS! 🚨

Okay so we are about to launch our BIGGEST fundraiser ever and we are so here for it — but we need our people to make it happen! 🙌💚

We've set an absolutely wild goal of $50,000 to keep our whole sanctuary family fed and thriving for the next six months. Yes, $50k. Yes, we believe in us. 😄

Here's the fun part though 👇

❓🤨 What do you think she is doing?

“She had gone into to the tack room just after feeding. I was taking food to the back paddock pigs and heard scraping noises. When I looked in she had already picked up the stick and was scraping it against the ground. There were two other sticks in there as well. I’m not sure if it’s a soothing thing for her but I haven’t seen her do it before 😍” - Tess.

Pig picks up a stick and starts tapping, scraping it on the dirt floor. Appearing to intentional make a mark on the ground.

I was born deaf, but honestly… I don’t think anyone told me. I charge through life like it’s one big love story and I’m the main character. 🐾💗
I’m a one-year-old Bull Arab boy, about 25kg of pure marshmallow energy. I want nothing more than to be by your side.
I’ll follow you around, gaze at you like you hung the moon, and flop into your lap like I’m still a tiny puppy.
I need secure fencing, older kids who don’t mind my enthusiasm, and someone confident enough to guide my strong-but-sweet vibe.
And if you’ve got a medium–large dog who loves a playful sidekick? I’m your guy, I’m basically the lovable himbo of dog friendships.
💘 So… wanna have a little holiday romance with me?
I urgently need a foster, and I’d LOVE a temp home from 3 December to 21 January.

Every year, the Melbourne Cup is sold as glamour, fashion and fun —
but behind the champagne and sequins is suffering.

🐴 Over 10,000 foals are bred each year for racing in Australia — most never make it to the track.
🐴 Thousands are sent to slaughter, their lives ended when they’re no longer profitable.
🐴 Horses are whipped at full speed, their bodies breaking down under pressure and pain.
🐴 Many endure bleeding lungs, fractured legs, and heart failure, all for a few minutes of entertainment.

This isn’t sport.
It’s systemic cruelty normalised, televised, and celebrated.
