Thanks East Gippsland Shire Council - the switchboard at the Hall is being replaced today (Tuesday) so both the Hub & Hall are unavailable on Tues & Wednesday this week.

A wonderful morning was held at the Omeo Soldiers Memorial Hall today - Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea. Thank you to Coleen Thomas for her organisation, Louise Oswald as the guest speaker & Emma Halahifi as the MC & auctioneer. Thankyou to those who attended and / or donated.

Please consider volunteering for a local group - beit a sporting club, CFA, Landcare, Neighbourhood House or any other community group.
One or two hours volunteering can make a big difference to a community groups' success. It might be regularly or randomly - please consider. And employers often look for your volunteering efforts when thinking about employing you.
It's a good way to meet your community.
