What a fantastic day we had at Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. A big thank you to Toowoomba Region for hosting the event.

We appreciate Bernborough Tavern’s yearly financial donation ensuring we can purchase what we need for our community float.

IDance Studios Oakey and Academy of Dance - Oakey helped us to represent Oakey.

And we couldn’t have done it without the help of our wonderful team of helpers~ all of whom work so hard not just on Carnival and Chamber, but on many town committees and projects. Thank you Sam, Kimberley, Carmel, Ian, Betty, Mark, Rosana and David. 🌷

One of the great things about being part of Chamber and attending meetings, is not only checking out everything we are working on each month, but getting direct updates from Federal, State and Council as we liaise with them in our work. We often have members of council attend and take any issues our community is facing away to relevant parties.
Cr Edwina Farquhar joined us this week and we couldn’t be happier to have the support of TRC for our projects.
Send us an email if you’d like more information or to join Oakey Chamber. When we all come together, we form a stronger community where we can grow and thrive.

Last week, our President David chaired the Oakey CWA AGM. Congratulations to the new and returning executives! Amazing work this past year and I’m sure the next year will be a success.

Last week David, Lloyd and Jess attended the Darling Downs Regional Alliance Meeting. There are some big things happening in the region and we look forward to working with TRC on projects in Oakey.

Last Friday the Darling Downs Regional Alliance came together at City Hall to discuss much more than just roads, rates & rubbish.

This regular forum is an opportunity to discuss and share not only the challenges but also the opportunities, and it's always a pleasure to do so alongside a group of such passionate people.

This meeting included representatives of Oakey Chamber of Commerce Inc., Millmerran Commerce and Progress Inc, Crows Nest QLD - Progress, Recreation & Tourism, Pittsworth District Alliance & Highfields Chamber of Commerce alongside representatives of Toowoomba Region.
