Join us in congratulating SACWA member Evelyn. What an amazing achievement and very much deserved.

Congratulations Evelyn!

Inspired by her mother and grandmother before her, Evelyn has committed her time to supporting her community through extensive volunteer work for the past 30 years.

Two Wells has embraced Evelyn’s leadership in community service, with her time being spent across many local organisations and roles. She has been a dedicated member of the Two Wells Country Women’s Association since it was established, and is now the group’s treasurer. Evelyn also volunteers her time as treasurer and event support for the Two Wells Regional Action Team, chair of the pastoral care worker support group for the Adelaide Plains Interchurch Council, delivery driver for Meals on Wheels, a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church’s Parish Committee and volunteers at the community run Two Wells Craft Shop.

Her commitment to the community is why she has been recognised as our Citizen of the Year in 2026 ⭐

Did you know the SACWA Country Cafe and The Marquee (located next door) at the SACWA is run by volunteers?
SACWA members, their husbands, partners, friends and family members make up the majority of volunteers. But did you know that you do not need to be a member of even know a SACWA member to volunteer?

If you’re a person that feels like you can’t commit to a long term volunteer role, but still want to contribute where it’s needed - this may be your opportunity.

If you would like to assist at all, give us a call and find out more! The show is not that far away!
