We are very happy to share that the NPS Trivia & Games Night raised $7,446 towards purchasing new reversible basketball and netball hoops for our school! 🎉

And as of this week's school fundraising sub-committee meeting, NPS is looking into purchasing height adjustable ones so our little kids will be able to shoot hoops too! 🙌🏼

But that means we need to raise a bit more, so stay tuned for details on our other FUNdraising initiatives this year 🙏💛

🎉 What. A. Night.

A HUGE thanks to everyone who came along to the NPS Trivia & Games Night on Saturday! The trivia was fierce, the games were chaotic, and the bar did very well.

A BIG congrats to the winning team, Anything but second, who won both trivia and the foil tower competition. After coming in second two years in a row, it was finally their time to shine 🤩

And THANK YOU to our incredible organisers and supporters (Jellis Craig Inner North 🙌🏼) and every single person who bought a ticket and threw themselves into the fun. We love our school community 🫶🏼

🎉 The NPS Trivia & Games Night is just one week away!

We've had an unreal response since tickets went on sale, with parents from every year level snapping up seats and tables. We've even had local community groups book tables too!

It's going to be a cracking night, so if you've been meaning to grab a ticket, there's still time.

And here's a little secret... every ticket sold gets us one step closer to buying reversible basketball and netball hoops for the school. ❤️ (Plus, someone on the organising committee does a happy dance too!)

Not all goals are out of reach… 🏀

The NPS Trivia Night is the school’s second biggest fundraiser of the year, and this year we’re aiming to raise funds for new reversible basketball and netball hoops 🙌🏼

Every ticket gets us closer. And every ticket gets you closer to a night you won’t forget (or at least won’t fully remember, depending on the bar tab).

🎭 “I don’t really like trivia,” said someone who hasn’t been to the NPS Trivia Night.

This isn’t a sit-quietly-and-answer-questions situation. Last year featured a spaghetti tower challenge, a figurine modelling competition (the Prep parents won, naturally!), paper plane throwing, coin-toss games, a live auction that got hilariously competitive, and a raffle.

You won’t be sitting down the whole night. But we guarantee you'll have a lot of fun!

Next Thursday, The Nits are hitting the stage at the Parents Battle of the Bands at The Croxton, so we thought we’d make things interesting 👀

Here are five clues for the five songs in their set. Drop your guesses in the comments ⬇️

They're sounding good. Really good 👀🎶

The Nits will take the stage at the Parents Battle of the Bands next Thursday 14 May at The Croxton, and they're bringing the 90s and noughties hits you know and love to sing along to.

Come cheer them on and help raise money for school music programs while you're at it 🙌🏼
