The Queensland state government has announced it will replace it's aging diesel bus fleet with.....more diesel buses.

Queensland LNP government has dumped the state's electric bus mandate, saying the plans were "half-baked" and would only create "expensive paperweights" to block streets.

Smoothing the way for EV charging in strata – a guide for strata residents, councils and managers.

The Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) appreciates that the availability of electric vehicle (EV) charging is essential for people living in strata managed properties who own EVs. Making it easy to establish EV charging in strata will help more people take up EVs.



We congratulate the Victorian Government Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, which has provided a useful guide for strata residents, councils / owners corporations and managers here: https://www.energy.vic.gov.au/.../ev-charging-in-strata... The website includes a pdf of the "EV-ready guide for owners corporations." The guide has been launched recently by Strata Communities Association, Victoria https://vic.strata.community.



We also understand that legal frameworks for establishing EV charging in strata managed properties varies across States and Territories.

While some parts of this guide are specific to Victoria (e.g. the legal framework), the overall framework is universally applicable.
