Congratulations to the organisers, volunteers, sponsors and all 359 participants who helped set a new Guinness World Record for the largest BBQ cooking lesson.

And yes... the BBQs were powered by EVs! πŸš—βš‘πŸ”₯

Events like this are a great way to showcase the versatility of electric vehicles and demonstrate how technology can be used to power much more than just transport. πŸ”Œ

A special thank you to everyone from the EV community who attended and helped make the day such a success.

The NSW AEVA team had a fantastic day yesterday at the World Environment Day Electric Vehicle Showcase organised by Parents for Climate and City of Parramatta Council at the Rydalmere Operations Centre.

One conversation at a time, our volunteers are helping more Australians feel confident about making the switch to electric vehicles. From charging and road trips to costs and everyday ownership, it was great to see so many people curious, engaged and excited about the future of transport.

A huge thank you to all the AEVA volunteers who generously shared their time, knowledge and real world experience βš‘πŸš—
