BusNSW was pleased to attend the 2031 Road Safety Action Plan stakeholder forum hosted by Transport for NSW on Monday 11 May, bringing together government, industry and community representatives to focus on improving road safety outcomes across NSW.

The forum featured presentations from road safety leaders and advocates and provided an important opportunity for BusNSW to contribute to the development of the NSW Government’s Plan, including consideration of heavy vehicle initiatives and broader passenger transport safety outcomes.

The event also marked the NSW launch of 🎗National Road Safety Week 2026🎗, running from Sunday 17 May to Sunday 24 May. The annual initiative of SARAH Group highlights the impact of road trauma and promotes ways to improve road safety across the community.

BusNSW and its members are proud to support the National Road Safety Week campaign, including promoting the nation’s road safety symbol — the Yellow Ribbon.
