We’re finally back first sail ⛵️ of 2026 🤗 can’t believe it and what a day!!
After 6 months of no sailing ⛵️ mostly due to strong wind 🌬️ we’re finally back on the water!!
I made a call yesterday to go sailing, as the wind was looking good for a change, with a 50% chance of rain ☔️ (1mm..,) well it appears you can’t rely on the weather apps, as it was more like 100% chance of sprinkles.
But I did not want to cancel, it had been so long, we can deal with being a little wet!!!
Thank you to those that braved the showers, you’ve got to get your feet wet at some time..
Thank you to the amazing volunteers for sticking it out in the rain during set up and thankful 🙏🏼 the sun came out during the last sail allowing everything to dry out before being packed away.
It was great to be back and well worth the effort despite the weather, looking forward to our next sail!!⛵️🤗

We missed a number of sailing days this year again due to weather 🌬️, including today, was a blow out..,

Thank you everyone who came down and thank you for the Christmas wishes and treats..,

Thank you also to our amazing volunteers helping out each sailing day, can’t be done without you all, 🙏🏼 you’re the best.

Love to see the joy on our clients faces when sailing begins for the new year, we’re back for 2025!!

An exciting start to the year, weather conditions were overcast and windy with a few sprinkles of rain, however we finished the day, packed up and all before the storm settled in for the afternoon. The day operated really well with a great turn up of volunteers, thank you for a fantastic first day.

Another fabulous sailing day, our last one for 2024. The weather couldn’t have been better, some decent wind and a little overcast making it not so hot!!

We had a wonderful time sharing some Christmas joy with our clients and volunteers, thank you so much for making our year!!

What a fabulous day!! Karen we hope you enjoyed your first sail with us, the weather couldn’t have been better.

Laurie and Ed, thank you so much for doing some needed repairs on our very old blue boat 👍🏻 love seeing all 3 boats on the water, those orange sails 🧡⛵️look brilliant on the water, you can’t miss them!!

Great to have so many volunteers turn up today including little Cashew who went for a sail, thank you everyone for everything you do.. can’t wait to do it again in 2 weeks time, see you then 😎
