Out and About Program term 1 2026
during the program, participants got to learn the significance of Cape Hillsborough with a walk on country with the Yuwi rangers, did a drive to Boundary rd. and learnt about the history during Yarns Aunty Veronica Ahwang and Uncle Palai followed by a walk along the river, where they also looked at the timeline. participants also got to learn how to cast a net, rig a fishing line and reading tides, along with other sessions that also included trying their hand at cultural painting. the participants were rewarded with a certificate of participation and a day at the leisure center bowling.
