International Youth Day | Wednesday, 12 August 2026

Today we celebrate the resilience, potential and achievements of young people everywhere.

This year's theme, "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations," reminds us that while every young person's journey is different, they all deserve the opportunity to learn, grow and achieve their dreams.

At Altitude Scholarships, we're proud to support students as they build brighter futures through education.

Happy International Youth Day!

Friendship is more than sharing good times - it's about encouragement, support and believing in one another.

For students, a trusted friend, mentor or supporter can make all the difference, providing the confidence to overcome challenges and pursue their goals.

This International Day of Friendship, we celebrate the relationships that inspire kindness, build resilience and remind us that no one achieves success alone.

Together, we're creating brighter futures - one friendship, one opportunity and one student at a time.

Today, Australians across the country are coming together for National Tree Day - Australia's largest community tree planting and nature-care event. Since 1996, millions of volunteers have planted more than 28 million native trees, shrubs and grasses, helping to create a healthier environment for future generations.

At Altitude Scholarships, we know that investing in the future takes time. Just as every tree planted today will grow and make a lasting impact, every investment in a student's education helps shape a brighter tomorrow.

Together, let's nurture growth - in our communities, our environment and our future.

Just as a tree needs care, time and the right environment to grow, so do our young people.

Schools Tree Day is Australia's largest nature-care event for schools, encouraging students to connect with the environment while learning the importance of sustainability and caring for our planet.

At Altitude Scholarships, we know that investing in education today helps grow confident, capable young people who will shape a brighter tomorrow.

Happy Schools Tree Day!
