Oliver's Sassafras is one of the species we are planting in the Rainforest revival. Rainforest plants in the Lauraceae family are thought to have changed little since Australia was part of the ancient Gondwana super-continent. An amazing treasure!

The species has attractive new red leaves, fragrant twigs and timber and the fruits (prolific every seven years) are food for rainforest birds.
