Seniors festival finished off with a performance by Sir Bob Geldof at the Civic Theatre. It was long and generous and took us all way past our bedtimes. It was brilliant. Funny, honest, raw. Sad, personal, triumphant, humble. Some songs sung soulfully. The story of his life. Thank you Sir Bob for channeling your anger at injustice into action. For always saying NO.

A massive turn out for our last day at Shine Central. We heard and saw Illuminating Stories from the Newcastle Art Gallery presented by Miriam and Mia. Our Lord Mayor was also there along with Pebbles the dog.
