Thank you for the painSTAKING hard work to GUARD the hundreds of plants we put in a few weekends ago 🌱

It’s beautiful to catch this dreamy update on how these young plants are faring in their new home, now protected from nibbling creatures, so they can grow up into habitat for the threatened glossy black cockatoos and other native species.

Thank you for making this possible through a grant and to all the volunteers, landholders and knowledge holders that made this event possible 💚

🌿 Bring your mates, learn a thing or two about coastal plants

🌼 Burwood Beach Bitou Bush Bash with Hunter Intrepid Landcare 🌼

📆 Sunday, October 27th
⏰ 9am – 1pm
📍 Burwood Beach, Glenrock SCA

Join Hunter Intrepid Landcare and for a w**ding session targeting Bitou Bush at Burwood Beach, followed by coastal plant ID & lunch (provided)

Spend time with like-minded young people, removing an invasive w**d in a beautiful area!
🌊👙 Keen for a dip after the hard work is done - so bring your swimmers and a towel

💚 Please note, this event is limited to Intrepid-aged volunteers—aged 17 to 30s.
