🏊‍♀️💦 3 DAYS TO GO! LET’S TALK SWIM CLUB! 💦🏊‍♂️

The countdown is ON! 🤩 Just 3 more sleeps until Muswellbrook Swimming Club kicks off our 2026/2027 season, and we thought it was the perfect time to answer a few questions for our new families! 💙🖤🤍

❓ HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE?

There’s no set age to join! 🙌 We welcome swimmers of all ages, with races ranging from 12.5m right up to 200m every club night. There’s something for everyone, whether they're just starting out or already love racing! 🏊‍♀️

❓ CAN MY CHILD USE FLOATIES OR SWIMMING AIDS?

Our swimmers need to be able to swim at least 12.5m unassisted to participate. No floaties or swimming aids are permitted during races. 💦

But don't worry, our older swimmers can jump in the lane to offer encouragement and support to new swimmers over their first few weeks! 💙 We want everyone to feel welcome and build their confidence.

❓ WHAT TIME DOES SWIM CLUB START?

We're in the pool and ready to go at 5:30pm SHARP! ⏰ We recommend arriving from 5:00pm so you've got time to get organised, catch up with friends and be ready for the fun!

❓ DO WE HAVE TO BE FAST TO JOIN?

Absolutely NOT! 💙 Swim club is about having fun, building confidence, making friends and improving your swimming. Whether you're chasing personal bests or simply enjoying being in the pool, there's a place for you!

❓ WHAT IF WE'RE NOT SURE SWIM CLUB IS FOR US?

We've got you covered! Our FREE Come & Try membership lets new swimmers try our first two club nights before committing to a paid membership. 🎉 You still need to register through Swim Central, and normal pool entry fees apply.

🎉 SWIM CLUB Q&A – COME & TRY EDITION! 🎉

We’re getting SO close to kicking off our 2026/2027 season! 🙌
With our first night just 6 days away, we thought we’d answer some of the questions we’re getting about our Come & Try nights! 💙🖤🤍

❓ What do I get if I do a Come & Try membership?
👉 You get to come along to our first 2 club nights and see if you like swimming with us before committing to a paid membership! 🏊‍♀️

❓ How much does a Come & Try membership cost?
👉 Absolutely NOTHING! 🎉 It’s FREE!

❓ You say Come & Try is free, so do I need to pay pool entry?
👉 Yes. While the Come & Try membership is free, you will still need to pay the normal pool entry fee.

❓ Do I still need to go onto Swim Central to register for Come & Try?
👉 YES! Everyone participating in Come & Try must register through Swim Central. This is required so swimmers are covered by insurance.

❓ What nights are the Come & Try nights?
👉 Thursday nights 💦

❓ What dates are the Come & Try nights?
📅 Thursday 15 October
📅 Thursday 22 October

⏰ Club starts at 5:30pm

❓ I’ve already purchased a Club Swimmer or Full Swimmer membership. Can I still attend the Come & Try nights?
👉 Absolutely! 🙌 These are still our normal club nights and ALL our swimmers are welcome💙

❓ Do I need a pool membership as well as a swim club membership?
👉 No, you don’t need a pool membership to join the swim club.
BUT… have you checked out the awesome mbership special the Aquatic Centre has running this month? 👀💦 It might be worth checking out!

❓ Do you offer coaching or Learn to Swim?
👉 We don’t provide coaching or Learn to Swim through the club, BUT our friends at the Muswellbrook Shire Aquatic and Fitness Centres have you covered! 💙

They offer coaching programs with Coach Maddi, as well as Learn to Swim programs. 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

📞 Contact the Aquatic Centre directly and their friendly team can help you find the right program.
