Bringing crokinole – the fast-paced, finger-flicking tabletop game – to the Tweed! 🎯 Join us for social comps the 2nd Sunday of every month at 3:30pm at the Imperial Hotel in Murwillumbah 👍 👌 Originating in rural Canada in the late 1800s, the game is believed to have been inspired by older European shuffleboard and carrom-style games. The earliest known crokinole board was crafted in Ontario in 18

76 as a birthday gift for a young boy – and it quickly caught on as a favourite pastime for gatherings. Today, crokinole is enjoying a worldwide revival, with clubs, tournaments, and online communities celebrating this uniquely social, tactile, and competitive game. Here in the Northern Rivers, the Tweed Valley Flickers Crokinole Club is proud to be part of that global movement — bringing people together for casual play and organising both competitive and social tournaments to spread the joy of crokinole. Whether you play for fun, for bragging rights, or to perfect your shot at the 20, crokinole is all about connection, skill, and a little bit of friendly rivalry.

The Tweed Valley Flickers Crokinole Club are back this Wednesday at the Imperial Hotel for another night of Flickers chaos and laughs.
Attached is a clip from last month’s action… featuring Green Discs scoring an absolute screamer of an own goal 🤦‍♂️😂
