🎶🩵What a beautiful morning at our FREE Song Circle event! 🩵🎶

Despite a little sprinkling rain and a little sunshine, we gathered together under cover and enjoyed a wonderful morning filled with singing, laughter, connection and plenty of fun.

It was lovely to see everyone joining in and enjoying themselves. There were lots of smiles, plenty of laughs, and a real sense of community.

I have learned one thing though….I need to remember to stop singing when I'm recording the videos, otherwise all you can hear is my enthusiastic (and out-of-tune!) voice, haha!

After the singing finished, many of us headed over for coffee and a chat, which was the perfect way to continue the morning together.

Thank you to all the wonderful women who came along and made the morning so special. Events like these remind us how important it is to create opportunities for women to connect, belong and thrive.

A special thank you to Kim Lesley Davidson who facilitated the event.

We look forward to seeing you at our next Together She Thrives event!

WOW! What an incredible day at our Together She Thrives stall at the Old Golden in Brunswick Heads yesterday!

Thanks to the amazing support of our community, we raised funds to help us continue running our FREE weekly events for women throughout the Byron Shire & Northern Rivers.

We are so grateful to everyone who donated items for us to sell, came along to shop, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed some food, or simply stopped by to support us.

We are so glad Kim Lesley Davidson suggested we run a stall as she had lots of stuff to donate.

A huge thank you to Lynne Schinella and all the wonderful bakers (Jacqueline Butler-Davis, Rebecca Saunders, Kim Powell & VJ Mort) who baked and donated delicious cakes and treats….and to Rae Davis for coordinating the baked goods. They were a huge hit!

Special thanks also to Amanda Becher for running the Organic Chai stand, and to Cathy Caldwell for helping throughout the day.

Thank you to Marisa Bettiol who made two enormous pots of homemade vegetable soup. It was so popular that it completely sold out by 11am!

Thank you to Paul & Dave for setting up the gazebo for us.

We would also like to thank Crystal Castle and The Banya Bathhouse for generously donating raffle prizes and Woolworths & Coles for their donations.

A very special shout-out goes to our volunteer Susan Morgan, who created three beautiful fairy houses. Two were raffled and one was sold through a private auction. Thank you for your time, creativity and talent.

Thank you Lonie Bell for donating such lovely brand new jewellery and Jill Mooney for helping nan that table all day.

And without a location in Bruns to hold it, it wouldn’t have happened. Thank you Tracey Farrell.

Thank you also to The Terrace Holiday Park Mangers for donating an electric piano. It brought so much joy during the day, with people sitting down to play, and it was later sold through a private auction.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our committee members and volunteers who worked tirelessly before, during and after the event. We simply couldn't do this without you.

Together She Thrives is built on community, connection and kindness, and yesterday was a wonderful reminder of what we can achieve when people come together.

Thank you for helping women connect, belong and thrive. 🩵

A little reminder from Together She Thrives

TST is a volunteer-run not-for-profit based in Mullumbimby creating free weekly events, workshops and connection opportunities for women across the Northern Rivers.

Everything we do is about one thing.... helping women feel more connected, supported, and less alone.

As we move through EOFY, we wanted to gently share that if you are considering making a charitable donation this year, we would be so grateful if you might keep Together She Thrives in mind.

Even small donations make a real difference:
✨ $20 helps provide materials and refreshments at a community event
✨ $50 helps contribute to venue costs
✨ $100 helps fund an activity for women experiencing isolation

Together She Thrives Inc. is a registered charity with DGR status, so all donations over $2 are tax-deductible in Australia.

If you’d like to support our work, you can donate here:
https://www.givenow.com.au/tst-programs

Thank you for being part of this community and helping us continue to create spaces where women can connect, belong and thrivec.

With gratitude,
Together She Thrives Committee

TST FREE Art Journaling Workshop today was enjoyed by everyone and what a great work of art was achieved by the lucky 10 women fortunate enough to be included in the event.

One of the participants Em, said “it was Just what the Dr prescribed to help me through my journey.”

A big thank you to Alison Mackay for hosting the event. And a special thanks to Amanda Becher for making a scrumptious cake for morning tea and for volunteering to help at the event.

TST is proudly supported by Northern Rivers Community Foundation.
