Looking for something to do this long weekend?

Why not stop by St Mary’s Catholic Parish Hall and view the Sandy Smith Photo Competition, open all weekend.

On Saturday at 9:00am, come along for a meet-and-greet with Delly Carr, one of Australia’s most renowned sports photographers. Delly has photographed the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Paralympic Games, Rugby World Cups, international cricket, cycling events, and many other major sporting occasions around the world.

June-2026– Digital Challenge Topic:
"WINTER"

This month's digital competition is -
WINTER- This genre of photography is about capturing subjects - prodominately landscapes, wildlife, and outdoor portraits-during the winter season. It focuses on utilizing cold-weather elements, such as snow, ice, and low angle light, while requiring requiring specific technical adjustments to manage high- contrast environments and protect gear from extreme temperatures.
Remember to have fun
The 2 images! must be taken within the month of the challenge!

You must be a current member to enter.

Images are to be resized to 2056 pixels on the long side and emailed through to [email protected]
Entries close: 6.00PM Friday 3rd July 2026
Entries will be uploaded for public voting: Saturday 4th July 2026 with the winning image announced on Tuesday 7th July 2026

As we wrap up another year at Cudgegong Camera Club, thank you to all who attended meetings, entered our competitions or contributed in some way or another.
