The Torrens Valley Scout group are out again for “walk a mile in my boots”fundraiser! Together they will walk a mile (1.61 km) to raise money for Hutt St centre who have been supporting people who are experiencing homelessness for 70 years.

CycleFEST August 2026

CycleFEST is your chance to level up your riding skills in the heart of the Adelaide Parklands. Hosted at Victoria Park, this 3‑hour session is open to all sections and designed to meet you exactly where you’re at—just chat with the team about what you’re working on and we’ll align it with your OAS goals.

Session time is 9:30–12:30pm, with a maximum of 30 participants per block to keep things hands‑on and engaging. Your $11 registration includes a free bike assessment, and you’re welcome to BYO bike and helmet. Need wheels? Bike hire is available for an additional $11, with sizes from X‑Small to Large (two of each size).

You don’t need to attend with your Unit—just roll up, ride, and enjoy. Registrations close two weeks before the event, so lock in your spot early.

Today the Cubs and Joeys had an amazing time with the Birdwood CFS. They loved exploring in and around the truck, trying on some CFS gear, and spraying the fire hose.
