Today the Cubs and Joeys had an amazing time with the Birdwood CFS. They loved exploring in and around the truck, trying on some CFS gear, and spraying the fire hose.

What a year!!

Starting with AJ2025 our group has had a huge year camping including Snow Venture, Super Splash, Surf n Turf, Cuboree, Seahaven and Dingo's Den

We were also involved again in Comedy Capers Gang Show with our largest involvement as a group so far

We worked with the community to raise funds for Walk a Mile and held a Bake Sale for scouts in Thailand

The official commencement of our Venturer group and James receiving his Australian Scout Award

As well as our weekly fun nights including Tree climb, Army Cadets, swimming, hiking, cooking over a fire and plenty of games!!!

Thank you to everyone for making this such a memorable year and looking forward to another amazing adventurous year in 2026 with Torrens Valley Scout Group

Scouts is more than just camping, knots and outdoors. As part of Scouts performing arts (Gang Show) one of our own was part of Adelaide's Christmas Pageant this morning.

Last night, the Joeys and Cubs participated in “Walk a Mile in My Boots,” a fundraiser hosted by the Hutt St Centre.

The Scouts walked 2.2 kilometres about 1.3 miles to raise awareness and funds for homelessness. All proceeds will go directly to the Hutt St Centre to help provide meals, hot showers, essential services and professional support to those in need.

Last Monday our venturer unit planned a bull ring activity and some games for our joeys and cubs. They set up tents, fiddled with radios, tied some knots and explored some compasses. They all had a lot of fun. Well done venturers

This National Homelessness Week, we'll be walking a mile (or more!) to raise funds for the 7,000 people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.

All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for nearly 70 years by providing essential support and wellbeing services all in a safe, welcoming space.
