Twilight Festival - May ✨
What a beautiful night.
There was something really special about seeing the park slowly fill with people throughout the evening — families wrapped in blankets, friends catching up, camp chairs scattered beneath the autumn trees, kids dancing to the music and the smell of good food drifting through the air. It felt like one of those nights that reminds you just how lucky we are to live in such a connected and supportive community 🌄
Thank you to everyone who came along, whether you travelled from down the road or from much further away. Your support means more than you probably realise, not just to the organisers, but to every local musician, stall holder, artist and food vendor who put so much heart into being part of the festival.
A huge thank you as well to everyone who helped make the night happen behind the scenes — the people setting up stages and lights, running sound, organising logistics, packing down late into the night and quietly making sure everything came together the way it did.
Special thanks to Campbell at Mount Beauty Hardware & Drapery for helping with DC adaptors for our lighting, POZ at Thrifty-Link Hardware / North Eastern Home Improvement for supplying materials for the stage, and Mountain Monk Brewers for generously opening their facilities to festival attendees throughout the evening.
To Kaia Altman, Charlie Brown and Tawhiti Pahina — thank you for creating such a beautiful atmosphere through your music. Hearing live music echo through the park as the sun went down was something pretty special 🎶
And to all of our incredible market stall holders and food vendors — thank you for the time, effort, long days and creativity you pour into what you do. Events like this simply would not exist without people willing to show up and share their craft with the community.
We’re feeling very grateful after this one. Thank you for making the Twilight Festival such a memorable night ✨
The music featured throughout this recap reel is live audio recorded from Kaia Altman and Tawhiti Pahina’s performances on the night 🍁
