We have a great panel for the discussion for tonight's film, "Living the Change".
Aunty Trisha Ellis, OAM: Local Yuin legend
Graeme Sawyer, former Lord Mayor of Darwin, and current president of the NT branch of the Australian Association for Environmental Education.
Lisa Cornthwaite, co-founder of Repurposing for Resilience Eurobodalla, as far as we know the only not-for-profit in Australia that repurposes (rather than recycles) solar panels.
Join us tonight (Thursday, April 9), at the Red Door Hall, 15 Page St, Moruya, from 6:00pm for a screening of 'Living the Change' - an award-winning documentary about real people creating real sustainable change.
There'll be soup available for sale, (tea, coffee and biccies are free).
The film travels the world to find smart, practical solutions to some of today's biggest challenges. See kids growing vegetables for their school canteen. Meet a couple who went a whole year without creating waste. Discover repair cafes, food forests, local currencies, and large-scale composting. These are everyday people doing extraordinary things.
After the screening, the panel discussion will explore how these ideas are already taking shape in Eurobodalla - and how we can take things even further.
This film is rated PG and is suitable for school-aged children. Children aged 12 and under must have an adult with them.
