Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you’re staying warm and dry.
We were very lucky Friday to enjoy a mild morning with no rain.

Inside:
* yellow playdough with animal cutters
* farm/ dinosaur and doll house table
* craft table with mask decorating/ drawing & making poppers

Outside:
* fine motor animal rescue
*wet sponge creating
* building with pool noodle cut outs and shaving foam
* citrus tea making
* water scarf play
* active fun on the playground

Good morning everyone, I hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
Friday was World Environment Day 🌎and how lucky were we to have such great weather to spend time outside.

Inside :
* mr potato head features in blue playdough
* decorate a pot
*fine motor table
* water painting

Outside:
*frozen duck slide
*finger painting
* planting time
* visiting the chickens & playground

🎈🎈We also had Mika celebrating her 1st birthday with us 🎂
Her amazing big sister Luna handed out cupcakes to all of the children, and we sang and signed 🤲 happy birthday together.

Good morning everyone

I hope you are all staying warm and enjoying the weekend.
Our session Friday started inside, but then the weather became kind enough for us to head to the playground and enjoy activities in the front lawn.
We celebrated National Reconciliation Week, creating crafts and Indigenous symbols in the 3 colour playdough.

Inside activities included-
*playdough table
*shaker making/ decorating
* car track table

Outside -
*paint stick on the Perspex
*sensory truck tubs table
* sensory farm table
* sand rub
* milk & oil science activity

We also had our school student helpers, who joined for story time and acted out Old MacDonald had a farm with the puppets 🐄

Good morning Mini Ants.

Thankyou to everyone that joined us Friday. We were lucky to have clear weather to spend time both inside and out.
We celebrated Catholic Education Week with a group of our school children joining us to engage with and support our Mini Ants as Playgroup is about community and learning together.
We also celebrated Logan’s 4th birthday with a song and some yummy cake to share 🎂

Inside we had-
* mixed making table with sticky frames or blob monsters
* animal cutters in the playdough
* construction tubs table
* sticky dots on the lines for fine motor practice
Outside-
* teddy bear picnic tray
* animals in green frozen jelly
*green slime tray
* coloured sanded funnel pouring
* water colour painting on the fence paper
* and time feeding the chickens and playing together on the school playground.

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and the weather isn’t stopping you doing what you love.
Fridays session saw us mostly inside, but we made it work and still got outside before the rains came.
Our activities included
* making our own sensory wands
* emotion faces on the playdough table
* group drawing table
*hand painting with the chalk paint
*animals hidden in the “snow”

We enjoyed a story together and welcomed new families to playgroup.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful Mums, Nannas and special people in your children’s lives 💐
I hope you are having a lovely day.
Friday we were busy and creative.
We
* made Mother’s Day cards
* decorated key rings
* used faux flowers in pink playdough to work on flower arrangements
* enjoyed the construction tubs
* had the outside bubble table & baby washing tubs
Even though the weather was not kind we still managed some time with our school chickens and the playground.
The last part of the session we sat together and decorated a biscuit or two.

Good afternoon Mini Ants.
I hope you’re having a great weekend. A bit of a wet one, great weather for gumboots 😊
Our Friday session was a great way to start Term 2.
We had a variety of activities on offer for our little ones to enjoy.
Also a very special day for Luna who turned 3. Where does the time go?! We sang and shared the most delicious cupcakes 🧁
Activities included :

* playdough with natural resources
* frozen lake animals & snow tub
* mud tucks & soapy wash
* water colour painting
* Mothers day finger painting
* coloured water funnel pouring
* playground & time with the chickens.
