Today we came together as a community to honour and remember at the Moora RSL Dawn Service, Memorial Service, wreath laying, and march past.

Lest we forget.

Moora RSL, Shire of Moora, Moora Rotary Club, Moora Lions Club, Moora Agricultural Society, Miling Progress Association, CWA, Moora Historical Society, the Barron Family, the Headland Family, the Porter Family, the Bashford Family, Moora Primary School, St Joseph’s Primary School, Central Midlands Senior High School, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, St John Ambulance, Indigenous Soldiers, and the Joyce Family.

📣 Moora RSL – Annual General Meeting

The Moora RSL AGM will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday, 10 December at the Moora Men’s Shed.

All members and interested community members are welcome to attend.

🌺 Poppy Day Appeal — this Friday (7 Nov)
The Moora RSL committee will be out and about fundraising around town: in front of IGA, FoodWorks and the Newsagency, plus two roving teams visiting local businesses. Please say hi and support if you can.

🌺 Remembrance Day — Tuesday 11 November
Please arrive by 10:45am for an 11:00am service (about 15 minutes). The service will include readings from Moora RSL, local community members and CMSHS students. Wreaths will be laid by Moora RSL, the Shire of Moora, CMSHS and Moora Primary School.

🇦🇺 Vietnam Veterans Day – Thank You 🇦🇺

The Moora RSL would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us today for the Vietnam Veterans Day memorial service. Your presence helped us honour and remember the service and sacrifice of all who served in Vietnam.

We also extend our gratitude to those who attended the graveside respects for Corporal Peter Clements, ensuring his memory and legacy are never forgotten.
