The 1st Ipswich Girl Guides is having a BBQ & Bake Stall at the Ipswich Show this weekend! 🌭🍔🧁

They're selling affordable hot food items and treats including gluten free and vegan options, as well as their iconic 1923 home-baked Girl Guide cookies which have been faithfully recreated and baked by Ipswich Girl Guide families 🍪😋 🍪

They'll be at the Ipswich Show's Heritage Precinct from Friday 15 May to Sunday 17 May.

Funds raised from the stall will help support the ongoing day to day operations of the 1st Ipswich Girl Guides unit and community activities.

🧭🌆 Adventure Quest Brisbane 2026 🌆🧭

Race around Brisbane with your patrol in an action-packed day of challenges, teamwork and adventure! Explore the city by public transport, complete exciting activity bases, and put the WAGGGS Leadership Mindsets into action. 🔍✨

👥 Who can join?
✔ Guides aged 14–17 and adult members
✔ Ready for a full day of walking and activities
✔ Able to get to Brisbane

Guides can form a Patrol of 4-6 to navigate Brisbane together. Don’t have a full Patrol or Leader? You can still register your Guide and we’ll help create a team for them!

📍 Event Details
🕢 Saturday 25 July meeting at 7:30am
🚩 Event starts: 8:30am
🏁 Finish: 4:00pm

Wishing all our Girl Guides and volunteers a wonderful term filled with friendship, growth and exciting experiences.
