Case Manager – Family Violence (x2)

MSAU-MDVS is seeking applications from people who would like to utilise their experience and skills to advance our vision: Futures free from sexual and family violence.

We are excited to have an opening for two Case Manager – Family Violence to provide effective, safe and professional services and support to those who are experiencing family violence.

This role will deliver high quality, inclusive and flexible case management services including client engagement, intake and assessment, case planning, intervention, review and case closure to victim survivors of family violence.

Both roles are offered on an ongoing full-time basis.

SCHADS L5 $105,577.68 - $110,359.60 pa

Information & Assets Management Project Officer

MSAU-MDVS is seeking applications from people who would like to utilise their experience and skills to advance our vision: Futures free from sexual and family violence.

We are excited to have a new opportunity for an Information and Assets Management Project Officer to provide administrative and project support to our Information Governance Program and implementation of our Privacy and Records Management Improvement Plan and establishment of our Information Asset Register.

This role contributes to improved information management practices through information gathering, stakeholder liaison, maintenance of registers and databases, record keeping, meeting coordination and project administration support.

This role is offered on an ongoing part-time basis (0.6 FTE)
SCHADS L3 $80,008.24 -$85,797.92 pro rata

Thank you to everyone who came along to our recent Community Gathering about supporting our young people. Now we want to hear from the young people themselves.

We're holding a youth gathering where they can tell us what's working, what's missing, and what support they want to see in our region.

Parents, carers, aunties, uncles and Elders, please share this with the young people in your family and encourage them to come along and bring their mates.

You're welcome to come along with them too; we want everyone in our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to feel safe to speak and have their say. Every voice matters.

Justice Navigator – Northern Mallee (Project Officer)

MSAU-MDVS is seeking applications from people who would like to utilise their experience and skills to advance our vision: Futures free from sexual and family violence.

We are excited to have received additional funding for the Justice Navigator Pilot Program and have another opportunity in our Mildura Office for a Justice Navigator – Northern Mallee (Project Officer). This new team will provide independent specialist support to victim survivors of sexual offending to help them understand and access their rights, and to understand and navigate their justice and recovery options.

In the Project Officer role, you will balance direct client-facing support with a primary focus on system coordination, establishing local networks, building streamlined referral pathways and leading project work to support the broader implementation and evaluation of the Justice Navigator model.

This role is offered on a fixed term, part-time basis (0.8 FTE) until the 31st December 2027.

This week marks both Women’s Health Week and National Child Protection Week.

Two important campaigns connected by a shared message: safety and support are fundamental to the health and wellbeing of women and children.

For victim-survivors, prioritising their health and wellbeing is not always simple. Feeling safe, being believed and having access to the right support can create stronger foundations for mothers and children to heal and thrive.

Children and young people need to be heard, valued, cared for and protected. Their voices and needs must be included in every conversation and decision about how we respond to and prevent violence.

Every woman and child, in every community, deserves to be safe, supported and able to thrive.

If you or someone you know is experiencing family or sexual violence, free and confidential support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
