Meet your facilitators for our upcoming Nature Connection weekend!

🌱 Fiona- Raakajlim ecologist, self-confessed plant nerd with a PhD in Restoration Ecology. Trying to save the world one little patch of habitat at a time at Raakajlim. Fiona is passionate about helping people feel more comfortable in the bush.

🌱 Rhae- independent artist and regenerative practitioner- utilising methods from ‘BodyWeather’ Rhae will support our observation, noticing and connecting. Gentle walking, meditation and invitations to engage with the landscape in new ways.

🌱 Phil- Co-steward of Raakajlim, and the bloke that gets stuff done. Phil has 40 years of experience managing national parks and is now ‘retired’ to work on Raakajlim. Phil will be taking us on a spotlighting night tour to search for nocturnal creatures and critters.

🌱 Win- local artist who specialises in working with natural materials, and drawing in collaboration with nature. Delve into the dynamic interplay of conversation among nature and art, where thoughts, emotions, and creativity intertwine.

🌱 Will- Respected local First Nations resident Willie Hannah-Rodgers will be hosting a Walk on Country. Willie, known by many as 'Uncle Willie’, has selflessly dedicated more than three decades to sharing his knowledge and culture with community and schools.

🌱 Deb- local food champion with a background in cooking and ecology, and founder of Floodplains and Food- a purpose-driven enterprise focused on securing local food
sources through community engagement, collaboration, and advocacy.
