Wet weather, muddy shoes and a warm campfire 🔥⛺🌧️

This weekend a small group of our Scouts headed to Barrima Scout Camp for a fun camping adventure. The Scouts helped tidy the campground, remove fallen branches and stack wood near the campfire area before enjoying a nice warm fire together after all their hard work.

Small group, big effort and lots of fun! 👏

🔥 Fire Safety Night 🔥

Tonight our Scouts learnt all about fire safety, including how to safely light a match, what is needed to start a campfire, and the important safety equipment we keep nearby when using a fire. 🪵🔥🔥

The Scouts discussed:
🧯 Fire safety rules
💧 Keeping water nearby
🪣 Having a bucket of water ready for emergencies
🧤 Safe distances around the fire
🔥 How to safely build and light a campfire

A fun and important night learning skills that help build confidence, responsibility, and safety awareness outdoors! 👏
