What a special conversation.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening with St Martins alumnus and four-time Emmy Award-winning visual effects supervisor Adam Howard.

It was a privilege to welcome St Martins alumnus and four-time Emmy Award-winning visual effects supervisor Adam Howard VFX Supervisor, back to where his creative journey began.

From his early days at St Martins to a career spanning Hollywood film, television and immersive experiences, Adam shared generous insights into creativity, collaboration and the many unexpected paths a life in the arts can take. Along the way, he treated us to memorable anecdotes, remarkable coincidences and stories that reminded us how unpredictable and interconnected creative careers can be.

Thank you, Adam, for your generosity, honesty and willingness to share your story. And thank you to everyone who came along, asked thoughtful questions and helped make it such a warm and inspiring evening.

Devising is a collaborative way of creating performance, where young people bring their ideas, experiences and imagination into the room to develop original work together.
Through improvisation, experimentation and storytelling, participants explore new possibilities, build confidence and find their own creative voices.

Our workshops give young people the space to create, collaborate and be heard.

Term 3 enrolments are now open, and we’d love to welcome new and returning participants into our workshops!

As we rapidly approach the end of the financial year, there is still time to support St Martins’ Annual Access program.
At St Martins, we see every day the impact of giving young people opportunities to express themselves creatively, take artistic risks, and feel genuinely seen and heard. Listen to their stories, in their own words, about the difference St Martins has made to their lives—we’ve been adding to our growing collection.

To everyone who has already donated this year, an enormous thank you. Your generosity makes a real difference.

If you’ve been considering making a tax-deductible gift, now is the moment—your support will help create impact that lasts far beyond the rehearsal room.
