At the Australian DrillDance Championships, DDA proudly introduced the All Australian Junior Team, recognising outstanding junior members from clubs across Australia.

The selected members came together as a representative team to perform the Junior Technical Drill.

Congratulations to those chosen, on this wonderful achievement!

So beautifully said Greenpoint DrillDance.

Every year at Nationals, there seems to be one moment or conversation that stays with you and sparks a little reflection and this year was no different.

This year, it was a conversation about a simple message sent many, many years ago. A message that so easily demonstrated the deep respect shared between Greenpoint and another club.

“Fierce rivals on the competition floor, with so much respect for each other off it.”

The conversation continued about how each club knows the other makes them stronger. We train harder knowing they won’t be easy to overcome and we know they’re doing exactly the same.

That mutual respect, admiration and drive to bring out the best in one another is something truly special. All sparked by one simple message sent years ago.

What a beautiful moment and a wonderful reminder of what our sport is really about. 💚💜
