Yoel Levy, who combines fitness and activism, first gained attention when he ran the Jerusalem Marathon dressed as Batman in memory of Ariel, 4, Kfir, 9 months old, and their mother Shiri “Running as Batman is my way to keep Ariel and Kfir’s memory alive,” Levy said. “It’s about strength, hope and community.” After the London Marathon, Levy met Yarden Bibas and his family in Israel.

The UK based fitness coach, has a deep connection to Israel, says his activism has attracted both support and backlash. “I’ve received many hateful messages and death threats, but that only makes me prouder to be a Zionist and Jewish,” Levy said.

In the lead-up to their big day, groups of soon to be married couples gathered with Rabbi Glasman to explore the deeper meaning behind the customs and traditions of the Chuppah ceremony. It was a chance to connect with Jewish tradition and with others walking the same exciting path. Mazal tov to all our upcoming brides and grooms 💍

Last week, we had a blast at The Sky event, featuring the inspirational Olympic medallist Jemima Montag and 2023 AFL Rising Star Harry Sheezel. After some networking and socializing, we heard their incredible stories of perseverance, resilience and the path to achieving their dreams. Cocktails and Connections in the Sukkah. Over 50 university students gathered under the St Kilda Shule's Sukkah for an event hosted by SKY in collaboration with AUJS. It was a fun night of cocktails 🍸, pizza 🍕 and networking.
