Annual Signing of the Common Statement

Since 1989, the Interfaith Network and the City of Greater Dandenong have come together each year to reaffirm our shared commitment to peace, harmony and understanding through the signing of the Common Statement.

This year's ceremony featured a heartfelt Welcome to Country by Uncle Mark Brown, the lighting of the "Many Faiths, One People" candle, and the official pledge to the Common Statement led by IN President Mehtap Williams, alongside Cr Deputy Mayor Sophie Tan.
