ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਲਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਗ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।

ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ SAF ਦੇ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਚ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੋਈ। ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਭਰ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੁਣ ਹੋਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। 🙏🏼

Bhai Chatar Singh Ji dedicated 2 years of his life in Madhya Pradesh, serving with pure seva and love.

Because of him, Sikligar Sikh children gained access to Panjabi, Kirtan, and Gatka — gifts that will stay with them for generations.

His presence, his energy, and his seva will be deeply missed, but his impact will never fade.

We do Ardas for his soul and pray that Maharaj Ji keeps him near his charan-kamal.

ਇੱਕ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਲਈ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਈ-ਰਿਕਸ਼ਾ ਵੀ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਈ-ਰਿਕਸ਼ਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੈਟਰੀਆਂ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਿਆ — ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਮਦਦ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖ ਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ।

ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮੰਗ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਮੁੜ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

This young Singh walked into our Surrey Headquarters with his parents to sponsor the child of a Granthi Singh back home in Panjab.

She lost her husband to the Panjab floods.

He went to save their cattle… and was tragically swept away by the floodwaters.

Sunita Kaur was left alone with three children and an unfinished house in Retewali Bhaini, Fazilka.

Today, that unfinished structure is now a safe and secure home.

Our SAF team completed the construction and officially handed over the house to the family — restoring not just walls and a roof, but dignity, stability, and hope.

And our work does not stop here.
SAF’s flood relief efforts will continue throughout 2026 as we stand beside families rebuilding their lives.
