Sankat Mochan Samiti Oakleigh South Sankat Mochan Samiti is a not for profit, non-political, spiritual and social welfare organisation.

The organisation is committed to promote and foster educational aspect of spiritual and cultural heritage and work with younger generation, newly arrived individuals and families and also senior members for better understanding of values and beliefs and to live harmoniously in the multicultural environment in and around Melbourne in particular and in Australia in general.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that *Shri Rakesh Auplish Ji*, a founder member of Sankat Mochan Samiti, has left for his heavenly abode. He was receiving treatment at Alfred Hospital.
We pray that the Almighty grants eternal peace to his noble soul and gives strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.

A heartfelt thank you to Shashi Kochhar ji for giving our children the opportunity to support the Friends of Children Foundation by packing care items for children in the Northern Territory.

Our young volunteers were proud to contribute to bringing comfort, care, and hope to children in remote communities while supporting efforts to eradicate trachoma.
