First of all, I would like to extend my greetings and wish all revolutionary people and international friends good health, happiness, and peace of mind.
In Myanmar politics, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, an extremely important public leader, remains detained today in the hands of the terrorist military junta. No one knows where she is being held, and she is not allowed to meet anyone. As a result, people cannot even know for certain whether the leader is still alive.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the world peace Nobel laureate, Myanmar’s democratic leader, and the State Counsellor elected by the people, is now entering her 81st year. Her release has become an issue that deserves top priority in global political demands.
International governments, organizations, world leaders, and the entire people of Myanmar have been continuously demanding her release. Looking at the prayers, demonstrations, and campaigns taking place both inside and outside the country for the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and political prisoners, it is clear how deeply the world and the people of Myanmar respect, love, trust, and rely on her.
What I want to say here is that praying and protesting alone for the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is not enough. We must faithfully fulfill our own responsibilities. We must work even harder on the revolutionary duties we each have to carry out. We must unite. We must stand together.
Only when our Spring Revolution succeeds and achieves victory will Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners be freed from detention, and only then will all the people of Myanmar truly be liberated from dictatorship.
Therefore, I would like to urge and appeal to all revolutionary people and international friends to continue supporting and standing together with us until the Spring Revolution achieves victory.
I would also like to sincerely thank everyone who has prayed, protested, and demanded the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and political prisoners, as well as everyone actively participating in the Spring Revolution.
May the revolution prevail.
