Victorian Assyrian Community The Bet-Urmia Assyrian Hub is the vital center of the Victorian Assyrian Community Inc., providing support to the Assyrian population in Victoria since 1983.

Located in Melbourne, Bet Urmia serves as a cultural and social hub for the Victorian Assyrian Community, providing a space for people to gather, celebrate their heritage, and participate in various community activities. Through the dedication and contributions of its members, Bet-Urmia was successfully established in 2013. It offers a warm and inclusive environment for Assyrians to gather, social

ise, and preserve their cultural traditions. With a range of activities and events, the club brings members together and it also provides comfort during difficult times. The organisation's committee, with over four decades of experience, aims to pass on the community spirit to the next generation by establishing a subcommittee focused on preserving Assyrian heritage, culture, and family traditions that are cherished by our community, carrying forward the legacy established by their parents and grandparents over forty years ago. New members are always welcome to join this vibrant community and help keep the spirit of the Victorian Assyrian community alive for future generations.
