The TMC aims to attract and bring people together to encourage the deepening of their interest, knowledge and participation in Christian practice, teaching, culture and social involvement;

The TMC achieves this by establishing local hubs, regular casual events, conferences, interviews, debates, online events, usi

ng its social media channels and weekly emailed newsletters. The TMC enables discussion in engaging and interdisciplinary ways and explores the principles behind contemporary bioethical, social, cultural and ethical issues; and

The TMC fosters friendships and support between the generations and between those who have mastered their work in professions, trades, arts and vocations- and those starting out on these paths.

The countdown begins ... 4 weeks to go till YPAT 2026!

Hear from a range of speakers exploring topics like medical ethical dilemmas, party politics, social media, Christian social teaching, trade & political development, and more.

Plus, you'll make like-minded friends and spend hours discussing your passions and goals over meals and activities.

The resident rate for YPAT (including the program, food and accommodation) is $600. The non-resident rate (no accommodation and breakfast) for local Brisbane folk who wish to travel each day is $300.

How much does YPAT cost?

Although the program costs the Thomas More Centre approximately $2,000 per person to run, we know that this is difficult for young people to afford. So, the actual fee we charge is only $600. This includes the program, food and accommodation.

We also have a non-resident (also no breakfast) rate for local Brisbane folk that wish to travel each day of $300.

In some cases, partial or full sponsorships are available from generous donors who make it possible for those who can’t afford the full rate. We also offer payment plans to make it easier for you to budget.

YPAT is a multi-day residential program where you will gain knowledge, insight and some practical understanding of political systems, campaigns and cultural challenges.
