Nothing goes to waste when community comes together! 🧁🍌

Students at Yarrabah School Page had a wonderful time baking delicious banana muffins using rescued bananas donated by Ecoshare! Turning surplus food into tasty treats is a fun way to learn about sustainability, reduce food waste, and share the joy of cooking!!

We’re proud to support schools in creating hands-on learning experiences while giving good food a second chance. 🫶♻️

We’re incredibly excited to announce our new partnership with Bayside Special Development School and to have officially kicked off their first ever breakfast program!

Through this partnership, Eco Share will be supplying a range of cereals, milk, light snacks for the students, fruit when needed throughout the day, and fresh bread for families to take home at school pick-up.

One of the things we’re most excited about is seeing the students get involved in the kitchen, building cooking skills, exploring new ways to use food, and gaining confidence through hands-on learning experiences.

Driven by cost-of-living pressures, up to one in three Australian children now regularly go to school without lunch or adequate food. That’s a heartbreaking reality, and it’s why partnerships like this matter so much.

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this where we can genuinely help support families in need and make a positive difference in our local community.

A huge thank you to Kate and Paddy for welcoming us so warmly. We’re looking forward to working together and continuing to support the wonderful students and families at Bayside Special Development School.

It’s always rewarding to see surplus food put to great use! 💚

EcoShare recently donated food to Yarrabah School Page, where students turned rescued produce into amazing fruit skewers and delicious homemade pizzas.

Seeing food that would have otherwise gone to waste become nutritious meals and fun learning experiences is exactly what EcoShare is all about.

A big thank you to the staff and students at Yarrabah School for making the most of these rescued ingredients! 🍌🍕

Today, Eco Share dropped off fresh food and frozen essentials to Frankston Winter Shelter, who provide warm meals and a safe place to sleep for people experiencing homelessness. 💚

A special delivery for some very deserving four-legged friends! 🐾💚

This week, Eco Share dropped off rescued dog food to The Lost Dogs Home in Cranbourne, helping ensure perfectly good food goes to animals who need it most instead of ending up as waste.

We’re so grateful to The Lost Dogs Home for the incredible work they do every day, giving lost and vulnerable animals the care, love and second chance they deserve. It’s a privilege to play a small part in supporting their mission.

Together, we’re reducing food waste, helping animals, and creating a stronger, more connected community—one donation at a time. 🦴🐶💚
