I am deeply committed to serving and uplifting our wonderful community, with strong, compassionate leadership. It has been my life's work to support vulnerable community members with aged care, disability, mental health programs and youth services and local fair access sport and recreation. It is in my heart to always Celebrate the cultural diversity and inclusive spirit of Officer Ward, with support for community events, local organisations and volunteers. My professional background is in community events, aged care and disability support. With a postgraduate education in community engagement and cultural development, and a fellowship in Community Leadership and governance, as well as many years of professional experience in aged care, and as a previous Centre Manager in the South East Region for home, nursing and community care, including meals on wheels, and now Coordinating a team supporting children living with disabilities in the South East. As a devoted mother and wife, I am passionate about making a positive future for our community. I believe in celebrating and nurturing an inclusive culturally-diverse community in Officer Ward, Cardinia. I Invite you to share with me, what is important to you? I’ve been honoured to be part of this group for the past 2 years, and it really means a lot to me to see arts and culture continue to grow and thrive across our Shire.

While the AFL finals weekend is a time of celebration for many Victorians, for others it can be a period of increased risk and harm.

Last year, police saw a 5% increase in family violence incidents on Grand Final Day, with 315 incidents reported.

There is never an excuse for family violence and police will ensure that each crime is investigated and that all offenders are held to account.

If you are committing any form of family violence, you need to seek help immediately from support services to change your behaviour.

If you are experiencing family violence or believe someone you know is at risk, it is never too late to report an incident.

🌟 What a wonderful night celebrating our young people in Cardinia shire!

It was a pleasure to attend the 2026 Cardinia Shire Good Choice Awards at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.

These awards recognise young people for the positive choices they make every day, showing kindness and resilience, supporting others and working towards their goals.

A huge congratulations to every young person nominated and recognised. You should all be incredibly proud, keep backing yourselves, making good choices and moving forward. 💛

As Officer Ward Councillor, I was especially proud to see young people from our local Officer community recognised.

There was also such a great vibe in the room, with Amplify performers Callum and Bridie sharing their talents live on stage! 🎶

Congratulations to our young people, their families and supporters, and thank you to Cardinia Youth Services for continuing to recognise and celebrate the positive contribution young people make across our Shire.

Our young people have so much to offer and they deserve to be seen, supported and celebrated. 🌟
