The time has come 🏳️‍🌈 The Inclusive Category is now being run at the Boulder National Cup, which will be held in Perth in late September!

Thanks to the hard work that we’ve put in with Sport Climbing Australia we’re one step closer to a more inclusive space for climbing.

For those who are unaware of the competitive space of climbing, we’re here to explain how the National Cup works, so swipe through to see how it’s structured 🧗

It goes without saying that of course, we encourage athletes to compete in the category they feel most comfortable in, and to have fun climbing in a high-level environment!

We hope to see you QTs in Perth soon. Bring it on!

Hello QTs! Welcome to your August calendar 🎉

It’s been quite a busy month for us during July so we’ve been a little more quiet than usual, but we’re still here, and we’re still q***r, and back with a lot of climbing events for this month!

A few announcements to note:

- For our Naarm/VIC QTs, the new “Sensory Friendly Sessions” are now being hosted by our amazing friends at on the third Saturday of every month ❤️ This bouldering meet-up is focused on being more relaxed and low-sensory, with no music, natural lighting, and less crowding.

For those who would like to attend these sessions, we would absolutely love it if you help us maintain the chill vibes during this meet-up 🙏

- Also for our Naarm/VIC QTs, the morning TransQTs meet-up will be moved back to the 23rd of August. We recognise that this meet-up will be on the same day as the
Climb West Melbourne | Bouldering Gym | Altona meet-up, so we encourage that you attend the event that interests you most, or is more accessible for you 💖

As always, a reminder that:

🍴 means catered event (free food and/or drink!).
🎫 means it’s a ticketed event, please book ahead.
🏳️‍⚧️means this is a TransQTs event. A meet for trans and gender diverse climbers.

June is Pride Month, and ClimbingQTs is throwing parties across the land with our awesome community and dedicated climbing gym partners 🧗🏻‍♀️

SA legends, you’ve seen all the pics, now it’s your turn! come along to celebrate our annual Pride Party with your favourite q***r climbing club! 🏳️‍🌈

Where: Adelaide - 128 Hindley St, Adelaide SA

When: Saturday 27th June 2026, 4pm to 7pm

Entry: Free for ClimbingQTs members! 🍕

What to expect: Heaps of climbing, food, and fun, all while celebrating pride with our beautiful community 🍰
