We are proud to share a new podcast created by POLSiT as part of Victorian Law Week.
The podcast explores important legal topics relevant to the Polish community in Victoria and aims to provide accessible information and practical insights into interpreting and translation services available in legal settings.
Understanding your rights and knowing how to access language support can make a significant difference when navigating the legal system. This initiative was created to help bridge information gaps and support greater access to justice for multicultural communities.

🎙️ Members of POLSiT recently spoke with SBS Polish
about free interpreting services available in Victoria for people dealing with legal matters.

Many people still don’t know that professional interpreters can often be arranged at no cost when attending court, speaking with legal services, or dealing with government agencies. Access to language support is essential for understanding your rights and navigating the legal system with confidence.

If English is not your first language, you do not have to face legal processes alone.

🌳💚 Celebrating International Translation Day with Purpose! 💚🌳

Members of POLSiT (Polish Interpreters and Translators) are gathering at the Polish Club Albion on 15th October at 7:00 p.m. to plant a tree — a simple but meaningful act to mark International Translation Day 2025.

As translators and interpreters, we spend countless hours at our computers and on the road, connecting people and bridging cultures. This year, we wanted to give something back — to the planet that sustains us all. 🌍

Our tree stands as a symbol of growth, understanding, and the commitment to offset the environmental footprint our profession inevitably leaves behind.

Join us for this green celebration of words, connection, and care — because every act of translation, just like every tree, helps the world breathe a little easier. 💚🌿

🌳💚 Świętujemy Międzynarodowy Dzień Tłumacza z przesłaniem! 💚🌳

Członkowie POLSiT (Polish Interpreters and Translators) spotkają się w Polish Club Albion w środę 15 października o 19;00, by posadzić drzewko — prosty, ale niezwykle znaczący gest z okazji Międzynarodowego Dnia Tłumacza 2025.

Jako tłumacze pisemni i ustni spędzamy niezliczone godziny przy komputerach i w podróży, łącząc ludzi oraz kultury. W tym roku chcieliśmy zrobić coś w zamian — dla planety, która nas wszystkich utrzymuje. 🌍

Nasze drzewko jest symbolem wzrostu, łączności ze społecznością i troski o środowisko — wyrazem chęci zrównoważenia śladu ekologicznego, jaki nasz zawód nieuchronnie pozostawia.

Dołącz do tego zielonego świętowania słów, relacji i troski — bo każde tłumaczenie, tak jak każde drzewo, pomaga światu oddychać choć troszkę lżej. 💚🌿

🌍✨ Happy International Translation Day 2025! ✨🌍

To all translators and interpreters — the invisible bridges between worlds, cultures, and people: thank you for your craft, your patience, and your dedication. Every word you choose carries the weight of understanding, every sentence you shape opens doors, and every nuance you preserve keeps voices alive across languages.

On this day, may you feel seen and celebrated for the quiet power of your work. You are the guardians of clarity, the keepers of empathy, and the champions of connection in a world that needs it more than ever.

Here’s to your passion, precision, and perseverance — may your words continue to unite hearts and minds across borders. 💙
