Today Rebecca Abernethy and Silva Nazaretian delivered a Building Capacity for Culturally Responsive Community Engagement workshop to the incredible Quit team at Cancer Council Victoria

Together, we explored the importance of understanding, respecting, and responding to diverse communities and how culturally responsive engagement can strengthen trust, participation and health outcomes.

We thank the participants for their enthusiasm, thoughtful reflections and for sharing rich conversation.

Thank you for hosting us Dandenong Market -we had a great time speaking with community members!

This week Enliven Victoria held a pop-up stall at Dandenong Market to raise awareness about Australia's Lung Cancer Screening Program.

Did you know that over 65% of lung cancers can be successfully treated if found early.

The Victorian Government is inviting people from multicultural communities to share their experiences and needs through the Victorian Multicultural Health Survey.

The survey asks for feedback on a number of topics, such as health issues that matter most, and barriers to navigating health care.

Please share with your patients to support multicultural communities to have their say.

The survey closes 31 May.
